Shelter-in-Place Rules Apply

As of Friday, May 8, 2020 due to the Humboldt County’s Shelter-In-Place order the Eureka Municipal Golf Course will be open for play on a restricted basis.

Please note that access to the golf shop will be limited to one patron at a time. So please be patient and prepare for waits when registering to golf.

We will be open daily from 7:00am to 7:00pm for golf.

The following additional restrictions are required for access for your personal safety:
  • No hand, arm or bodily contact while on the property.

  • All employees will wear face masks and nitrile gloves while inside the golf shop.

  • All patrons entering the golf shop (one at a time) need to have a face mask on.

  • Driving range is closed.

  • One rider per cart unless the players live in the same household. Carts sanitized before and after each use.

  • Cups will be raised an inch above the ground. If you hit the cup the stroke is considered holed.

  • All ball washers covered.

  • All sand trap rakes have been removed. Please rake divots in traps with your feet.

  • Tee times will be set a minimum of 20 minutes apart.

  • No proceeding to tee box while group ahead is still on it.

  • No passing of scorecards to other players. Each player is to have their own scorecard and pencil.

In adherence to the Shelter-In-Place order, members and guests must always comply with the social distancing requirements suggested by the CDC and WHO, including a minimum distance of 6 feet between people while on the property. A Course Marshall will be on the course to ensure safe distancing is being practiced. Any patron not complying will be removed from the course.

Finally, we ask for your patience, flexibility and cooperation during this time and appreciate your understanding. We are committed to keeping everyone safe, while also providing the opportunity for health and wellness through this great game of golf.
